SCARPA North America extends a PRO PURCHASE PROGRAM to select, full time, paid outdoor professionals, who require our products to perform responsibilities directly related to their employment. Qualification is based on specific categories of industry professionals.
If you are a volunteer we recommend that your organization contact the nearest authorized SCARPA dealer to pursue a direct local relationship.
Pro Privilege and Responsibility
This program is a privilege. With that privilege comes responsibility on the pro's part. Please respect your local retailer; get to know them, build a mutual relationship with them, and most importantly, don't use their staff or inventory as a resource unless you intend to purchase from them.
SNA qualifies pros for each category of product in our collection (telemark, alpine touring, mountaineering, backpacking and hiking/trail, climbing/approach). Please include all relevant information that will clarify your qualifications and ensure acceptance of your order.
All orders must be shipped to the place of employment only. No exceptions. The success of this program relies on the character and integrity of participants; abuse will not be tolerated.
How to Participate
We encourage all professionals to establish a relationship with local SCARPA retailers. Ask if your local retailer participates in SCARPA's Pro Purchase Program. Otherwise, please follow the instructions below.
- STEP 1: Read relevant Pro - Individuals, Pro - Groups or Dealer Employee qualifications below
- STEP 2: Determine if Individual, Group or EP application is correct for you
- STEP 3: Determine specific category for qualification
- STEP 4: Gather all specific, required documentation for your category
- STEP 5: Go to: SCARPA Pro / EP Application Page to fill out an online application
- STEP 6: You will receive an email from our pro department asking for you to fax, mail or email all required documentation prior to acceptance.
- STEP 7: After you/your group has been qualified, you will be provided with the necessary information to complete your Pro / EP Purchase.

Pro - Individuals
Full-time outdoor professionals must apply to participate in SCARPA North America, Inc.'s Pro Purchase Program. Please include all required proof of eligibility to prevent any unnecessary delays processing your order.
All orders will be shipped directly to the place of employment & no drop shipping is permitted.
Required Proof of eligibility: 4 of the below documents:
- -Current pay stub (please black out $ and social security number)
- -Letter from employer on official letterhead
- -Pro certifications
- -Company brochure

-Avalanche ProfessionalsFor full-time, paid members of national avalanche organizations (US and Canada) engaged in avalanche forecasting, prevention, safety and clinics. Includes forecasters for the USFS, DOT, ski areas, and independent snow science researchers. Please provide: current pay stub showing full-time employment, official job description, business card, relevant qualifications - AIARE Level 3 or CAA Level 2 certificate, AMGA Ski Guide or Alpine Guide certification, AAA Instructor certificate.
-Ski/Climbing/Mountain Guide Must be a full-time, certified guide with the AMGA, ACMG, IFMGA in rock, ski, alpine, or mountain and living in North America. Please provide: industry certifications, guide accreditation, business brochure, business card, current employee roster, photocopy of current pay stub, letter from the employer. Please specify discipline to ensure qualification for requested product.
-Outdoor Educators Must be working full-time for a program that offers wilderness and outdoor leadership training that includes climbing, mountaineering, or backcountry skiing programs. Please provide: brochure of program, your schedule or contract, business card, employee roster, photocopy of current pay stub, letter from the employer, job description on official letterhead.
-Outdoor Industry Foryear-round, full-time benefited employees of member companies involved in the Specialty Outdoor market. Recipients must ensure reciprocal pro deals to SNA. Please provide: business card, pay stub, letter from HR department stating full-time, year-round employment, job description on official letterhead.
-Collegiate or University Outdoors Programs Forfull-time program directors or assistant program directors. Other staffing is ineligible. Please provide: job description, business card, pay stub, letter from HR department stating full-time, year-round employment.
-Professional Photographers/Media Weaccept applications from Full-time, professional media and photographers only. Photographers must submit images to SNA twice a year. Media must be year-round, full-time, benefited employees of media outlets that represent SCARPA-related industries. Independent media must submit 3 published samples from the previous year that dealt specifically with a SCARPA-related industry. Please provide: samples of work, website, business card, pay stub, letter from HR department stating full-time, year-round employment, job description.
-Professional Ski Patrol For full-time, paid professional ski patrollers in season. Please provide: current pay stub, NSP Pro division credential, written letter from your patrol director or HR department on company letterhead confirming your full-time professional status.
-Professional Ski/Telemark Instructors Availablefor currently certified, full-time paid instructors affiliated with the PSIA. To purchase telemark boots, instructor must regularly teach telemark skiing professionally. Please provide: current pay stub, PSIA credential, written letter from your ski school director or HR department on company letterhead confirming your full-time professional status as well as the disciplines that you regularly teach.
Pro - Groups
Groups (such as ski patrols / guide organizations / government and military agencies), should have a dedicated contact person (program director / pro coordinator / supervisor) email us from an official business email address. Please include all required supporting materials and links to your business or programs and, if applicable, a current active field roster for those paid professionals in your group whom you are qualifying for the pro program.

-Guiding Agencies/Services Accounts are available to all AMGA and UIAGM certified guide services and operations. Please provide: a current list of full-time guides with their area of expertise, brochure, website, area of operation, proof of insurance.
Wilderness Schools For dedicated wilderness programs running expedition-length trips throughout the calendar year. Eligible employees must be full-time, year-round field instructors. Please provide: a current list of full-time field instructors with their area of expertise, brochure, website, area of operation, proof of insurance.
-Government For full-time year-round or seasonal (3-month minimum) employees who spend a majority of their time in the field. This is primarily for BLM, NPS, and USFS workers but all professionals will be considered with appropriate documentation. Please provide: a current list of full-time field-based employees with their area of expertise and area of operation.
-Search and Rescue For full-time paid professionals only. Please provide: NASAR, MRA certification or other qualifications, letter from Sheriff's office (letter from employer on official letterhead), current roster of members.
Required Document Explanation
-Current Pay Stub should illustrate full-time employment; black out all social security info and $'s.
-Official Job Description should be on official company letterhead.
-Business Card should include title, name of applicant, business info.
-Relevant Certifications that will support your case for eligibility: PSIA, NSP, AIRE, etc.
-Business Brochure: The brochure should be a marketing piece used by the professional/agency to promote their business.
-Employee Roster: The roster should be printed on company letterhead, have a current date or season, and should have the contact name for the HR/manager.
-Letter from Employer should be written on company letterhead, be dated, and sent by the HR dept/manager stating full-time employment and job description.
-Work Schedule/Contractwill help us qualify seasonal employees, this should state clearly full-time, paid status for minimum of 3 months.
-Business Website should be a marketing piece used to promote business with potential SCARPA consumers.
-Samples of Work - While we strive for relationships with all outdoor industry media, freelancers requires extra supporting documents; your samples will assist us in evaluating your qualifications as well as familiarizing SNA with your work.
SCARPA North America, Inc. (SNA) offers discounted pricing for currently employed retail employees of current SCARPA dealers. This program is for employee’s personal use only and is NOT to be re-sold or given to friends or family. All EP orders will be shipped directly to the place of employment only. No exceptions.
- Purchases are exclusively for retail employees; purchasing for friends or family is explicitly prohibited. Items may not be sold or given away.
- Allow 3 to 5 days for order processing, and 2 to 3 weeks for delivery.
